Counseling

More Than 30 Years of Experience

Turning Corners was established in 1997. Patricia Elizabeth Lilly, Director of Turning Corners, has more than 30 years of experience in the substance abuse and addiction field. Shortly after receiving her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology at Shepherd University in 1979, she began her career as an alcoholism counselor at Sacred Heart hospital's in-patient program in Cumberland, Maryland. In 1993, Ms. Lilly was promoted to Program Director and EAP coordinator for hospital personnel. In 1995, Ms. Lilly relocated to the Baltimore area and opened Turning Corners in 1997. Three years later, she opened a second facility in Bel Air, Maryland. She is certified by the State of Maryland Department of Mental Health and Hygiene as an addiction counselor.

Services

Our wide range of services includes DWI education, alcohol and drug education and treatment, relapse prevention, family and individual counseling, and continuing care services. Staff counselors have bachelor degrees in the counseling field and are board certified (MACCB) addictions, counselors. The staff has access to consultants in the field of mental health and psychology.
